FCS CHEEK PAD FEATURES:
EASY ON, EASY OFF Arai's Facial Contour System's (FCS) exclusive spring action allows the lower portion of the cheek pad to retract for comfort when putting the helmet on. Once on the spring support moves back into position closing the gap between the lower cheek and pad for an improved seal.
QUIET & WIND-FREE Arai's exclusive contoured cheek pad shape ensures a secure seal against wind and noise matching the angle of the face without putting undue pressure on the cheeks maximizing comfort.
PROTECTIVE An EPS shell backs each cheek pad enabling it to offer the same kind of protection as the helmet's crown.
CUSTOMIZED FIT A removable foam layer (5mm) allows the rider to modify the fit in the facial area without replacing the cheek pads. For further adjustability, six interchangeable size options allow the rider to customize the fit in the facial area to their specific needs. (Crown liner also available in optional fit sizes.)
CLEAN & COMFORTABLE Removable, washable, anti-microbial fabric lining maintains a neutral pH balance next to the skin making them germ, dirt, odor and irritation resistant (even for those with have sensitive skin) helping the helmet stay fresher longer between cleanings.
QUICK-RELEASE Integrated pull-tabs built into the underside of each cheek pad allowing them to be removed without removing the helmet of a downed rider.
SPEAKER READY Molded insets allow the installation of speaker for maximum comfort reducing any pressure to the ear.

RESIZING CHEEK PADS For a tighter fit install a thicker cheek pad than the ones in the helmet. For a looser fit install thinner cheek pads.
INSTALLATION NOTE: These cheek pads come with a removable layer of 5mm foam allowing you to adjust the cheek pads down a size without buying an additional pair. (Once removed this layer cannot be reinstalled.)
TIP1 Helmet tight? Remove 5mm layer before buying a new pair of cheek pads.
TIP2 Not sure how many millimeters to add or subtract? Start a size thicker than you think you will need and you will be able to remove the extra 5mm layer of foam… if you went too far. In other words, 2 size options in one!
